π The Unwinding: A Womenβs Full Moon Sauna Ritual Mayβs full moon, often called the Flower Moon, arrives in the heart of spring when the natural world is in full bloom. Traditionally, it marks a time of emergence, abundance, and blossoming, when the seeds planted earlier in the year begin to reveal their beauty and potential. There is a sense of vitality and expansion at this point in the seasonal cycle. Life is opening, expressing, and reaching outward. This evening offers a gentle counterbalance. A space to pause amidst the fullness, to soften the nervous system, and to reconnect with what is quietly unfolding within. A space to check in with yourself. To honour what is coming into bloom, to release what no longer feels aligned, and to return to a steadier, more embodied rhythm. What to Expect A nourishing evening of: Ceremonial cacao to arrive and settle Gentle breathwork and embodied movement, including tapping and shaking, to open and ground Ritual and intention to reflect, release, and reconnect Sauna and connection to soften into warmth Cold water immersion to awaken the senses A herbal salt body scrub to revitalise the skin Gentle lymphatic facial massage to support release and softening Time to rest, connect, and simply be What to Bring Journal, pen, swimsuit, two towels (one to sit on in the sauna and one to dry off), dry robe or warm coat, water bottle, slip-on footwear such as flip flops or crocs, and comfortable layers to keep warm afterwards. We have small outdoor changing facilities, but we recommend arriving changed where possible. At Drove Orchard, follow the signs to the overflow car park, drive through the car park, and turn right, following The Hidden Sauna Club signs. If youβre no longer able to attend, youβre very welcome to pass your space on to someone else or let me know and I can offer it to the waiting list.
