There is a moment, somewhere between land and sea, where something in you remembers. In Celtic folklore, Selkies are beings who move between worlds… shedding their seal skin to walk upon the land, yet always belonging to the sea. Their stories speak of longing, of return, of the pull back to one’s true nature. Selkie’s Return is an invitation to come back… to yourself, to your body, to the rhythm of the tides. Held amongst the vast salt marshes and golden light of Burnham Deepdale, this evening weaves together movement, heat, water, and community. Not to become something new… but to soften back into what has always been there. 🌿 What Awaits You → We begin in the bell tent with a gentle, grounding practice… a space to arrive, to land, to begin listening → From here, you’ll be guided into the warmth of the sauna… softening the body, opening the senses → As the tide begins to rise, we walk out across the marsh and immerse in the creeks… held by golden light, salt water, and open sky → There is space here to dip, to float, to breathe… to meet yourself in the water → We return slowly, closing with warmth, tea, and space to land 🌕 Who This Is For This is for women who feel the pull of the sea… who long to reconnect with their bodies, their rhythm, their inner tide For those who are not looking to fix or force… but to return, to soften, to remember You’ll need to feel comfortable in the water and able to swim at least 100 metres. The creeks are generally shallow, and we move with care, often able to stand… with space to float and gently paddle. We only enter the water as the tide is coming in, allowing for a calmer, more supported experience.
