Return to the light: Winter Solstice

Service Description

This year, Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere takes place on Friday 22nd December at 3.27am. This is the time of the shortest day, and the longest night of the year. A time for resting. For renewing. For retreating. A time for celebration also, welcoming the return of the light as the sun makes it’s way back northwards and we start the journey back towards summer, towards the light and towards the sun. We'll mark this evening with ritual, stillness, breathwork, and gentle movement. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners. Please bring a yoga mat, 2 x blankets, and a yoga bolster. If you don't have equipment, please let Emilie know before the class so she can bring the relevant equipment. Cancelations This event is non-transferable and non-refundable £15 Where Burnham Overy Staithe Village Hall New Rd, Burnham Overy Staithe, King's Lynn PE31 8JD The village is located on New Road, there is parking along the street. Please check this address and amke sure you know how to get there. When Please arrive on time. Please don't arrive before 18:20pm, as we will be setting up the space. We will start as close to 18:30pm as possible. I won't be waiting for people so if you're late, you'll have to be ok with that. Likewise, I won't answer any calls after 18:25pm.
